Pragatinagar, September 2026:
An Institute-Level Skill Competition–2026 was organized at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Institute of Engineering & Technology (ABVGIET), Pragatinagar, with enthusiastic participation from students of various diploma programmes.
A total of 108 students registered for the competition. After the screening test, 42 students were shortlisted for the final practical skill assessment. Students from Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering participated in the competition.
In the Computer Engineering category, Armaan and Ravikant secured First Position, while Ardh Bhatiya and Ankit secured Second Position. In the Electronics & Communication Engineering category, Armaan Chauhan and Mohit Sharma secured the First Position, while Sujal and Sarthak secured the Second Position.
The competition provided students an opportunity to demonstrate their technical knowledge, practical skills, problem-solving ability, creativity and teamwork. Various activities including poster making, speeches and quiz competitions were also organized as part of the programme.
The event was conducted under the guidance of the institute authorities and faculty members. The programme aimed to promote skill development, innovation, confidence and healthy competitive spirit among students, while providing them with a platform to showcase their technical capabilities.
